You must understand that the RV's are not cheap. They are also expensive to operate. Free, close to job area camping is rare these days. RV parks will cost you anywhere from $250.00 to $500.00 per month. The last time I checked, before gas prices exploded, the cost per mile to operate an RV was $2.71 per mile. You will not save money by using an RV as opposed to motels or weekly inns. They are a lot better than hotels, but don't forget, some parks, especially government parks, close around 10 p.m., with some giving you access codes or keys. Do your research, there are plenty of web sites dedicated to the RV life. Do not get a Four Winds RV, you will drive for 10 hours and work on it for 40 hours. Make sure you get the right drive train package for towing the vehicle of you choice. Avoid the GM transmissions.
