CABL Forum - beware of VM comsource

I really wish I didn't have to do this. But I have no other choice.
I answered an ad here for trap removal in PA for VM Comsource.
Negotiated hotel rooms and requested an SOW and a contract.
The owner Vince vazzio along with his PM Todd Kropf tell me that they can't E-mail it and that it would be waiting for me when I arrived. I drove all they way to Allentown PA from Wichita KS. So I gotta recoop some money now. Against better judgement I said OK.
I get to Allentown and no contract,just the work.
About the end of the second week I get told by Todd Kropf "if you
don't sign the contract you won't get paid" so I said to him
I don't have the contract nor do I have the SOW.
So he gets me a contract and an SOW. To which I read, and find it's an installer agreement and that the agreement says they can hold pay for 45 days at the end of contract be it voluntarily or company termination.
I did not agree with that, and brought it to the attention of todd
Kropf, who then says well if you don't sign it we keep your
money,
to which, I said well if you keep my money I will file a labor lien.
his reply is talk to Vince.
well Vince says this is just a standard agreement and I won't do
the 45 day hold out, you'll get your money don't worry. so I
signed the agreement as did he.In front of witnesses.
well, we get close to the end of the contract and my guys need to come home for personel reasons. I called and talked to Todd Kropf about it as the guys have been working strait through for two months and wanted to give them a little break. the agreement was that the guys would take
off a week and be back up the following sunday. well, wednsday rolls around and I call todd. who decides to tell me the address totals are off by 202, but other than that everything else is good.
I'm thinking they may be on the next weeks totals being as Todd has done that to us before.WRONG, thursday rolls around and I get a call from Todd saying that they aren't paying us our last 2 checks that addresses weren't tagged. which the agreement we had was to remove the traps for a certain rate and if we tagged the addresses we got extra.well they now say thats not how it's gonna work. it worked for 2 months with their
recomendation and knowledge.so I stopped the guys from going back up and called stevens and james to go get my money.
then I call Vince Fazio. who then tells me "well we are gonna hold the money for 45 days because you sicked your lawers on me" LOL...I told him about the verbal agreement he made in his office and this
he tells me well I have a signed contract and it's out of my hands
so my lawyer is in charge. you'll get your money in 45 days. well, here we are nearing the 45 day mark and I call vince fazio, he tells me he ain't paying sh8. and to take him to court. little does he know we not only have the paper work to the addresses he claims we didn't do at all, but we also have the tags.I sat by while they shorted Central states communications and didn't do anything. Not that I could I'm just a contractor there myself. And I knew todd would try to short me that is his nature. But I did not Expect vince to screw me over.
I will take this nonpaying to court. you can not legally force some
one into a contract signing. and for him to say we didn't do our job at all is a lie.
Vince also told me I could drive all they way back up there and do
something about it. The thought was very tempting. but a cooler head will prevail.
