That was just something they were inspecting in Al Azar (spell?) when he was in Iraq....he is our baby, 20 when this pic was taken last year. Our 27-year-old daughter is a Staff Sgt. in the US Army, joined right out of high school at age 17. She had been stationed in Gitmo with the detainees for over 2 years. Suffice it to say, that if your little girl wants to be "Combat Barbie" like my daughter (her nick name but she's a b*llbuster!) let her have at it. This Xmas will be my best - they will both be home for the first time in 3 years. What a wonderful Xmas gift, even though I already know what it is! Time for a snooze after turkey....
