That's the way I feel. I don't even own a cell phone. If I leave the house, I am unaccessible - just the way it used to be in the "good old days." As far as work places, if there has to be communication that is job-related, I'm sure walkie-talkies can do the job if the range is right. You are right that on the job, there shouldn't be girlfriends/boyfriends calling or vice versa. You're there to do a job, so do it. My hub had a teen working with him a few years back, he didn't last long, because he was creating chaos and potentially dangerous situations by always worrying about answering his phone when it rang, instead of focusing on the job he was given to do. God forbid!!!!
