free walfishes are horse hockey. i'm doing catv right now and the sub pays for the fish, but they also have to pay for activating the existing outlets..........gone are the days connecting 8 prewires and billing for them, now it is a matter of negotiating with the sub for 45 minutes and then only getting maybe 4 outlets. it's getting ridiculous. cut the prices on the a/o's and then restrict the number that can be connected, then blackball subs for charging on the side.
i'm sure someone out there is thinking this is fair and it is for the mso, but the sub and the subcontractor are dying out here. i mean this is just the tip of the iceberg........
i won't go on. i'm ashamed to admit i haven't moved on yet.
