Everything below applies, what will be the real issue though is your current employer. They want to keep you working for them under their thumb so to speak. They may cause you many problems and find a way to fire you over it. You'll be accused of doing it on their time, stealing materials, using their tools truck etc. I'd be very careful and would keep it to yourself as long as possible, I'm assuming your an in house catv installer as a sub it may not be as bad but I'd be careful. One tactic you could use is if they would pay you enough where you didnt have to moonlight you wouldnt but big mso's and even little ones care about one thing, money, if they could make you do it for free they would, its a tough world out there.
