If the home is currently connected to any cable company you need to make sure your not going to get sued or even charged for causing leakage or other problems arising from your adding onto the subs in-house cabling. MSO's won't go after the home owner for the most part, but if you offer services that compete with what they do yo might get your teet caught in a ringer.
