Re: frequency to channel mappings....
this is what i was looking for, i'm in the process of working this out, but what i see from a little cut and paste into excel is that in the available channel range for tv 2 the difference between air and cable is an offset of 2 MHz. one thing i've noticed on these tv's is that i might be able to see the hint of a picture, or only get the audio when the receiver and the tv agree on the format/channel, so next time this happens i will be trying to mismatch the format and look at both the upper and lower 2MHz offset on the corresponding channel. i think it might work, or at least be worth a shot. if there is anyone that knows WHY these tv's are looking at the wrong frequency or what it is about the dish receiver's output that is causing the problem, i'd like that information even if it doesn't take me anywhere other than to a place where i can rightly point my anger/frustration.
