Thank you for all yours answers. I have done both fiber optic link up to 150 km with 1500 nm EDFA (HFC) and wireless (CANOPY) but I am talking here about 1,700 km due north of New-York city where T-1 is around $ 8,000 a month........
This is the reason I am looking at satellite system.
