Re: Cabltools Design Software

I am not sure if this may help , but it sounds like your browser security level is set high , and will not allow Active X content to install and run . You did not say what type of browser you are running . If you are running a recent version of IE with current updates installed , a thin yellow colored line should have appeared below the address line prompting you to answer wether you wished to install and run Active X for the page you are attempting to view . If so , you would right click on that line , and select " Allow Active X to Install and Run " , there may be at least two or three other options as well . Also , if you are running IE , you can click on Tools - Internet options - Advanced , and adjust your settings involving Active X / Third Party software . If this resolves your problem , and you wish to maintain the high level of security you previously had , then I would suggest resetting once you have accomplished what you needed to do . You may also be able to add that particular web page to your Trusted Sites group of URL's which normally run at a lower security level . ( this might be the safest and easiest route for you to take , and you would only have to do it once , and it would work for future use )
Hope this has been of some help . I suppose you can PM or call me if you require further assistance . (smile)
