Only time you want to use the 3-2 prong adapter is if the all the outlets are the older two prong type,or the receivers are frying when you plug them up, or the receivers are getting interference when a particular light switch or appliance is turned on. Even then they should only be used as a temporary fix until you can get the electrical problem(s) fixed. But 3-2 prong adapters will do nothing to help the OP's problem.
