I went to the DTV website and followed the link to the application and see where it say's that they will forward it to the install company in your area. But I still think it strange that DTV would take on this task. Could be a way for them to build a database of potential installers without alerting the HSP's what could be coming. A couple of years ago they didn't exactly give a lot of notice to the contractor call centers that they were pulling some operations inhouse, so it would stand to reason that they would be just as sneaky if they deceided to cut a few HSP's in favor of an inhouse install network. I could be wrong, but if I were an HSP, I'd be feeling a bit nervous about them being so kind as to find techs for me.
