Right now the Little 10 have the # 1 & 2 teams in the country, with the winner (The Ohio State University) going to the National Championship game. Not bad for such a weak conference.
Yes it was an outright championship in 2002. We went 14-0. No team has ever done that before, and Miami had 1st and goal at the 1 yard and could not score. If you have first and goal at the 1 and can't score, should you be the national champs?
We might not be the best conference, but we do have the best 2 teams in the country.
