sounds about right. today i had a total non-speaker.....not a word......i did my best high school spanish and got through the job........got to the paperwork and some kind of extended family was now crowding the house........i told the sub "igniciales, aqui, y aqui", "ferma aqui y aqui"......i might not have spelled that right but it means initials here and here, signature here and here. the extended family started talking smack in spanish basically saying "oh NOW he speaks spanish" and laughing. i run into this problem a lot here in tx as i am part cherokee and since i work outside all the time i'm darker than most of the illegals i'm hooking up. they assume i'm one of them and get angry when i dodn't speak spanish. it's the damndest thing. it'd ALMOST be worth losing the "point to order" taco stands just to get rid of them. of course the constant flow of illegals does provide a steady source of new connects...........but i digress.
