Please understand there are 50,000 accounts here and most come either looking for work or looking for others to work for them. In order to keep the majority of the site free and not overburdened with advertisements, there must be a restraint on the usage of the forum for that purpose. From the posting rules:
Finding work: it is okay to ask for help with your own legwork ("Does anyone have contact information for the prime doing the rebuild construction for Acme Cable in Baltimore?") but advertising for work ("Who has work going on in Maryland or Virginia?") is only allowed in the advertisement section.
