A union is impossible in today's work environment. I suggest you stray away from it, especially if you are a sole provider of your family. If you have money in the bank, a means to make money from another company, or have a spouse who is making enough money to float you while you are looking for another job, then you are the prime candidate to help organize a union.
Leave the company and talk your other co-workers into it as well. The market place must correct these situations.
I don't believe in the union fairy anymore, sorry Trey.
