Dcableservices and Broadband Technologies and myself gave you the proper reply to your question. I don't consider it a joke to be "qualified" to touch a phone system that carries the emergency systems (you're not just twisting a pair of wires together and okay there ya go)! I don't consider it to be a joke when a qualified individual opens up a customer expensive computer to add an ethernet port or add and configure the software etc., etc,. and try to explain it all to the customer.
