If you're going to go into the Bay area I suggest going to Pittsburg and getting on the BART train it will take you right into San Francisco without all the tolls and $20 parking spots. Short trolley ride from there to Fishermans wharf and Alcatraz and all that.
Napa is right beside Vacaville if yer into wine.
Yosemite is a short drive to the East.
Tahoe is a couple hours from ya ( the Nevada side is better though)
If ya go for a drive up the coast , stay away from Guerneville on the 116 both times I drove through there there was a gay pride festival.
and theres a titty bar on Richards just off of the I5 in Sacramento.
Also don't forget .... you must drive between 20 and 30 mph over the posted speed limit or you will get a ticket for obstructing traffic.
