We heard this morning that we were now required to run a telephone home run, to backfeed to the nid, from Emta location. ( Rather than to use customers existing jack )This of course is to be included in the installation price so no extra $ to do so. So in this example....1 ) We go to activate 2nd line at Emta for fax in same room. Instead of just coming out of line Two and being done with it which is what most should and still will do. You need to, 1) Backfeed to nid from Emta Location. 2) Run new line to same room you backfed from. 3) Hook up fax which is 5 feet away from Emta. All for a billing of, Adding an additional outlet seperate trip. Sounds to me like they have been talking to DirecTV on this one. Anyway, I missed the meeting this morning but I spoke with someone who said this is now how the Company wants things done. Thanks for Comments, laughs, others....Bill...
