commscope has spanmaster which can calculate sag and tensioning. I have a spread sheet program that calculates material called magic mile it figures material for 30 poles per mile or 42 poles per mile rebuild or new build it does leave a few things off but only minor things. I got it from a sales rep for TVC in florida. I don't know if they pass it around to every one or not.
