any older ccor cannot be swept from external t.p. you must use the internal t.p. with a splitter and t.p. value is 25 db.
Now having said this you can use a splitter and sweep from the external t.p. but your trace will not be accurate. unless it is a navicor or flexnet the only other accurate response is through a tap.
