I've been selling these for $99 each. While I am making twice my purchase price of $42.95, I think I might be under-cutting the price. Anyone know what DiSH's in-house is selling these units for?
Back when I was an in-house tech for DNSC, we were selling the Panamax DBS+3 for $99. Knowing that they were likely purchasing them for $33.00 or less, I figure they marked accessories up about 3x purchase price. I could buy the DBS+3 wholesale for the $33, so I figure Dish was either getting them for that or lower. Given the same mark-up, I figure dish is selling the TII for either $119 or $129.
I try to keep my accessory pricing inline with what Dish inhouse might sell the item for. Their retail prices are usually high enough that I can make good profits selling at their price points.
