Directv is a bunch of cheap arses allright! No friggin coax jumpers? Cheap cheap cheap!
Dish supplies the tech with plenty of jumpers. They don't supply the customer with any HD cables, but that can be a good thing for a tech who wants to upsell to the customer. (It is a little more difficult to upsell a coax jumper, eh?)
