Pioneer Communications is seeking a Chief Headend Technician
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, self directed and
resourceful. Must possess excellent communications skills, and the ability
to work under pressure. The individual filling this position will be
responsible for, among other duties, the day to day maintenance of a 80
channel analog headend and extensive fiber network. Proficiency in the use
of spectrum analyzer, waveform monitor, and knowledge of FCC requirements is
required. Pioneer is in the process of implementing a headend consolidation
project as well as full 2-way cable modems. A digital
offering is also in the works. We offer competitive salary and excellent
benefits in a rural setting.
Pioneer Communications is located in southwest Kansas and provides to our
customers telephone, long distance service, paging, CATV, internet service,
and video bridging services.
