I can't help but add my .02.. it's not helpful info but here goes..
My ex wife suffers from Chron's.. She went for yrs to doctors who told her time and again her symptoms were esophagus(acid reflux)related. Every doctor she went to told her she MUST change her dietary habits, eliminating coffee being the biggest!
Well, long story made short, she didn't heed doc's advice and now has a very advanced Chron's problem! She was correctly diagnosed a yr or two ago and STILL refuses to do anything about her dietary habits...
I guess there is some advice to pass along here, if your doctor advises a change of diet to help your condition, DO IT!
