First file a complaint(or atleast threaten to) with the state insurance board or like agency. That alone should make a world of difference. Insurance companies hate when this is done. It creates a ridiculous workload for the insurance co. and also runs the risk of an audit by the state. Which if happens the District attorney will get involved. Insurance companies skirt outside the parameters set by state laws. So they do not want the state to be nosing around in their business. And the comment about low wage paying adjusters your dead wrong. Those guys make a small fortune. Its been a good ol boy business till lately. The hurricanes totally wrecked their tight community.
