If you have been with them for any major time, do what i did.

Don't give them a two-week notice, tell them you are taking a two-week vacation. Go in and pick up your last check as if it was just a normal payday but the last day of your vacation. When you have your check in hand, ask them for the forms to outprocess you. Tell'em you just quit.

Every shop I've ever worked for and gave 2-week notice, they either shafted me out of the last check or cut me loose right there on the spot when I gave notice and still shafted me out of the last check.

Most states are "Right to Work" states. Your employment can be terminated without notice by the company, well... You can also quit without notice as well. Just make sure to take your "vacation" and collect your last check before you terminate your employment.
