Why not tell them that you are planning a vacation to a foreign country? Tell them that you will be spending about 2 or even 3 weeks there so that you can take in all the country has to offer. Here's a good coverall, tell them that you just want to make sure they are going to keep you working once you get back. Sound genuinely concerned that they might leave you hanging upon your return. Then, just do your other job or what have you, and when the last paycheck comes in, just cash it and wipe your hands of them.
