quad cable is 100% shilded (outerbraid) reg rg6 is 60 percent shielded quad is better thats what makes it thicker some electric contractors use it but the cable company dose not so they dont issue quad fittings here in biloxi alto i used to always carry quad indoor, quad outdoor, reg indoor and reg outdoor in tampa
