I got into some of that years back. I had it on both hands and luckily it didn't spread. I used good ole plain Quaker Oatmeal.
Mix the oatmeal in water until it is good and pastey. Since it was only on my hands I dumped the oatmeal in a sock and placed my hands in the sock overnight. This worked wonders for me.
