I know what your going through as It happened to ME 2 years ago.
BTW... AS far as the SHOT goes it does not work for everybody. I got that shot and it did NOTHING for me. Also cost like $60. for UNDER $20 Wallgreens has some stuff over the counter that DOES WORK!!!! It smells like crap but it works. First it neutralizes the poision ivy on the skin then it starts to help heal.
Took 2 days to pretty much kill off the crazy itching problem and a week or 2 to completely get rid of it depending on how bad you got it. Also there is an Oatmeal soap that gives complete TEMP relief from the itching. It`s for bathing. Know this will help. Good luck.
