Its an HSP world now. Only the veterans who have made true contacts will be able to work this business and still hold their heads up high. And its not like its really hard to beat the pay in cable and sat anymore. Its just that the good jobs have long lines, unlike the revolving doors in the HSP controlled satellite world.
I didnt diversify and that was also a problem. But diversifying would have only pro-longed the truth. Every product this industry touches causes the install rates for the product to drop. This made spending $$ to get different certs seems not to be a wise choice.
