Check with Amtrak. If you have just splicing rigs you will be good on height. I used it move a couple vans from CT to GA. That was about 10 years ago, couldn't tell you cost now. In my opinion abca has it right, the wear and tear on the rigging is worth being saved by hauling. Just my two cents...
