Been going on for years

Years ago Companies started demanding workmans comp to cover there BUTTS. Then a prime would tell Subs they have to have and etc on down the line. Because if they audit your company and an employee is not cover you have to pay for their coverage. I also have to carry it ,I have no employees but can't work with out it, In Pa. as a sole propietor with no employees I pay $8 per $100 I make so you do the math.Its expensive. heres the catch tho I can't even collect on it because as the owner I can't cover myself. So I pay this into the state W.C. fund and at the end of the year they audit me and I get it back because I had NO employees. Crazy isn't it. You can't fight it you have to have it now for liabiltiy reasons.
