Re: Ameco

Worked in Tiffin & Fostoria Ohio which were turn-keys by Ameco in 1964-65 as a splicer (ATM-60 gear) I was green and right of of the Marines although I did have a year of electronics school Trained by Jim Doughtery, Tom Mattingly was job supervisor and Wendell Holmes was #2. Went to work for Continental Cablevision (great company) when systems were built, stayed 15 years. My dad said, "those guys are nuts they think people are going to pay to get television". Boy if only he could see Bud (Hostetter) now!
