The Amp draw would be your main concern. You don't want to exceed 80% of your power supplies rating i.e. 20 amp service should have no more than a 16 amp draw or you Will have issues!!! Your average amplifier will draw .75 to 1.25 amps ( check the provided info of your particular brand). that will give you a fairly good idea of what you can get from that power supply before you have to insert another down the road or piggyback what you've got. As far as voltage drop, well usually not an issue unless your engineer is trying to stretch cable or going too deep! Anyway, hope this sheds a tad a of light! Later, Mike M.
