As a retired Navy Chief, I'd like to add the following two items to your list:
1.) Kobar Tower (a barracks facility for U.S Service Members) in Saudi Arabia
2.) USS Cole
and to amplify, that military member on the tarmack in Beirut was Petty Officer Second Class (Navy Diver) Robert Dean Stetham. A true American hero.
