Amen to that - my youngest (Now our Marine) was being mouthy with me while still in high school and I threatened some "tough love" to which he replied, "Yeah? You touch me and I'll call social services and report you for child abuse." That ignited my temper like nothing else could and I hauled his bony body (even tho by then he was taller than me) and gave him a good smack on his butt, stepped back and said "Call 'em." He was stunned and that was the end of that conversation.
