the neat thing you can do (and i do this all the time) with a dual tuner dish network reciever.. is take a splitter.. hook it up BACKWARDS.. i.e. small jumper from the tv2 out.. to a 2 way OUT port.. and a small jumper from the remote antenna port to the OTHER out port on the splitter... plug the line going to the second tv into the IN port of this splitter.. (works the same way a diplexor works) then behind tv2 put ANOTHER splitter in the correct way i.e. plug source line (from reciever) into the IN port.. then plug one of the OUT ports to the tv and tune to channel 60 (or whatever channel the reciever is set to) then put the actual remote antenna to the other out port.. this WILL eliminate ALL of your remote issues. this configuration will also work through diplexors.. just insert the diplexor inbetween the IN port of the splitter and the wall (behind tv1)
