Taking a trip with Mr. Kennedy in the morning,he's still at it. Not many crews left like that though. Be lucky to get 5000 ft done out of a bucket these days with the red tape, power regs, dot and associated bull**** one has to go through these days just to go to work. I remember one good day of roadside in Columbus Indiana me and another lineman hung 11,000 off of hooks and a flatbed with the forman shuttling us pole to pole. Those glory days are long gone for me now though and my daily foot pain reminds me plenty of the eight years I spent climbing for a living. That was the rule back then though 5000ft on strand crew,100 bonds on bond crew,2 amp spacings on trunk crew (450) or go home you aint cuttin it.
