HUGE L-Band Design Problems

Our company has been contracted to repair an l-band system for a very high end condo complex (148 units).

The Dish side (110/119) is working fine.

BUT... The Directv side is up. The 101 is coming in at around 60% on both odd and even. The Real problem is with the 119/110 stacked leg. This, as you know brings in their HD signal, which most residents want. It comes in, sometimes, and it is intermittent at best.

We have replaced the LNB's, combiner, micro-stacker, amps, and connectors. I think that the problem may be in the fact that from the first amp, there are two runs of RG11 to two different closets. One run is aprox. 250 feet and the other is about 400'. We are using PAL 1 amps. Dual RG6 runs to each unit.

In each unit, we are using two hi-freq. splitters, one for 101 and one for 110/119. Then we have two destackers (one for each even leg). Then we have a 6x8 Zinwell switch. The 13v leg goes straight into the switch from the splitter. Then the IRD's connect straight into the splitter.

Would it help to install three separate dishes to peak signal?

BTW we didn't build this nightmare.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
