I'm reposting a few things before I leave to head down the highway again this week. The following are words on a plack in a Sports Store in my home town . This Man Tony Panzeralla was one of my mentors as he gave me much patience ,as from him I learned Children are OUR FUTURE. Tony has passed now , but will never be forgotton , These were words he lived by and I thank him for them.
Winners vs Losers
The Winner is always part of the answer.
The Loser is always part of the problem.
The Winner always has a program.
The Loser always has an excuse.
The Winner says "Let me do it for you"
The Loser says "Thats not my job"
The Winner sees an answer in every problem.
The Loser sees a problem in every answer.
The Winner sees a green near every sand trap.
The Loser sees two or three sand traps near every green.
The Winner says "It may be difficult , but its possible."
The Loser says " It may be possible but its too difficult."
Sometimes its hard to have a photographic memory as I
I can still see his son , the Sherrif , jumping apon his Daddys caskett screaming , " I miss you daddy" , I can still see the bat and baseball at his tombstone when I visited his grave , that started out " With Heartfelt Thanks" To me the greatest accomplishment that a person can leave is to be remembered for the good you did after they're gone.
"WHITFIELD"
IN Memory of Tony Panzeralla
