$1000/wk seems to be the bar most subs want to hit. I even remember a guy boasting that $1500/wk on the road, no per diem was great. To be honest, to each his own. If you make it off of whatever it is youre getting, fine.

I should have worded the question a little different. Maybe 1000/wk isnt good. But if I offer a sub position for 1000/wk, I will get many veteran installers applying for the position. If I offer 13/hr I will not get that same level of applicants, but they both cost me about the same.
