Delaware is an East Coast state , with Maryland to the South and West, Pennsylvania ( especially Philadelphia ) to the West and North , and New Jersey to the East. The Delaware Bay and the Delaware River seperate Delaware and New Jersey. Delaware also has a border with the Atlantic Ocean to the East. There is one major port city ( Wilmington ).
