If you have a bunch of BNC 59 connectors, you might run through them faster by using them for jumpers, short runs, and jobs where the number of terminations to overall length of cabling used is high. That way you can exhaust your supply of 59 connectors while still keeping your 59 cable costs low. I don't know what the cost of 59 BNCs is in comparison to 6 BNCs, so it might be beneficial to keep a mix of both types depending on costs.
