Wow! It is great to hear about the old days in So Cal back then. I knew Randy Barainger (excuse my spelling) from Hesperia area....heard he went with Volt back in the late '80's. I last saw him at a party at the Western Show that HBO/Cinemax put on with "Huey Lewis and the News" as the live entertainment. The Western Show had some EXCELLENT parties...saw Kenny Loggins at a private party in the Hilton, Gary US Bonds, Johnny Sebastian, Sister Sledge, The Tempeations, Brian Setzer (The Stray Cats), Los Lobos, Bonnie Raite, Annette Futacello at a private party for the 1st year of the Disney Channel at Disneyland and countless others that escapes my memory now! Now that was the good old days! Back then I remember getting free tickets to see Gallager at the Long Beach Convention Center and Bruce Springstien too. Lynard Skynard tickets at the Pacific Ampatheater in Costa Mesa....and the list goes on! That is when working for cable was fun!
