The satellite didn't fail. It was the rocket. And their rocket program is better than our rocket program of the late 1950s & early 60s. That bird will fly sooner or later.
India is the land of outsourcing. When jobs in Information Technology in America leave they leave for India. I understand companies moving their computation work to India get better and cheaper results; much better & much cheaper!
I also note that the Indian rocket (s) fly without international uproar whereas when North Korea proposed and then did launch a similar dud there was talk of cruise missiles taking it out on the pad before launch. It was similar hardware with the identical end use. Different package.
Just something to think about while cutting fittings.
