Re: versalift


I did it on my 28... it's an 82 model I think and it was a pain. I had to use a tranny/diff lift to hold it in place because it was so heavy. I would definitely reccommend a pro doing it but if you have to get it yourself, then have at least two strong buddies to help you, and you better be very adept at figuring things out.

It is also a good idea to have the manual too, I forget who i got mine from - a place that versalift sent me to get parts. I replaced the entire wire harness and the inner and outer pads for less then 400 bucks. Money well spent in my opinion.
