Re: Because of the truth

Since you were there you must know what he told us over the phone to get us to come down there---hmm.

He needed our trucks, our insurance, our tools, our trailers. He didn't want any contracts between us, and we would have no proof of what we earned. He had no running vehicle to get back and forth to work, he had no money for gas, he even had to borrow lunch money from us on the first day and kept telling us, how broke he was and how he was down to only his hand tools and hooks.

Honestly if you would have came down there with over 100,000 in equiptment, had to put all of your money in for gas, hotels, and loaning him money, like we would have to do, would you have stayed around? We've been in this business too long to sit around and "HOPE" to get paid.

This guy may be your friend, and you may think alot about him, but come on man, If the person who was supposed to be paying you, was in this bad of shape and you just met him would you have trusted him to pay you? We absolutely had all the risks, he had all the benefits. That wouldn't have been a good deal for anyone!
(roll) I don't think I met you down there, but best of luck, wherever live takes you.
