I will second that. This guy was a real piece of work. Back in the mid 80's I was a lineman for them in Uniontown, PA.
We were suppose to receive our checks before X-mas. I remember we waited and on payday nothing came. A bunch of us linemen headed to the main office in Ohio and said we weren't leaving till we got paid. Jerry Evans hid from us as he was the man who said we would get paid before X-mas.
We ended up talking with someone above him and got paid on the spot.
When we came back from the holiday break all of us were pretty much forced to quit as were all given all the clean-up and nasty easement
I also remember some guy named Al Star I think who told me to go to the PA job from CA and all expenses would be paid for when I arrived..
I ended up spending a week in the parking lot in my car as PA knew nothing and this Al Star was on vacation.
